Such a talented group, the music was fantastic! Our corporate event was a huge success and we received so many compliments on our choice of music, all thanks to The Sundogs! The sound was well managed, hats off to their technician. The music selection was enjoyable for all age groups at our event and the vocals were spot on. The Sundogs were awesome! They played just the right kind of music for our crowd and they LOVED it! I actually think they played some of the songs better live than the actual band that sang them! The Sundogs were a great time, low maintenance and we will be having them back!

I thought the concert was awesome! Not only did you play for over 3 hours, which was great in and of itself, but I thought your song selection was fantastic! You did songs that I NEVER hear typical cover bands play–songs like “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” “Sunshine of Your Love,” etc….those are all songs you don’t typically hear bands try to cover, but you guys did an awesome job with them!

The Sundogs were fantastic. Friends said it was the best wedding and we have to give credit to the band. We loved the play list except for the last song – which I can’t remember what that is now. It was a hard song to dance to, otherwise we sang and danced along with all the others.

The Sundogs were AMAZING. We had our wedding guests coming up to us all night telling us how much they were loving the band. Their music is so fun to dance to – all generations of guests were out on the dance floor all night long. They played all of our requested songs and they made our reception unforgettable by providing phenomenal energy. Lastly, they were very accommodating and easy to work with too.

We greatly enjoyed having the Sundogs at our wedding. The music is great, they sound great and mostly people of all ages know the songs they play. They are also very flexible with timing and breaks. They allowed us to use their sound equipment during their breaks for speeches and my nieces impromptu duet. They are very quick to respond via e-mail and worked well with our wedding coordinator to set up arrival and sound check and such. It was such a pleasure to have them perform. I plan to recommend them to my friends!

I totally loved this band. The band appealed to all age groups. The band played for our benefit dance in honor of our daughter. Not knowing us at all they made this a very special event. They honored requests,had excellent sound, great vocals,and left us with the feeling, we want these guys back for our next benefit!

The Sundogs were amazing! From reading their description, we knew they were guys who have a band because they love music, not because they are trying to break into the big time. Their play list was perfect for us. When we arrived at our party the wait staff was raving about their warm up, and quickly we learned why. As the host and hostess we had a hard time leaving the dance floor to mingle with guests. Our guests are still raving about their quality and talent days later. We all left the party trying to come up with something else to celebrate soon, so that we can book the Sundogs again. Don’t miss the opportunity to have them at your event.

The Sundogs are AMAZING. They played for our wedding at the Overture Center in Madison, and were a complete hit. From the second they started playing until the very last song, the dance floor was packed. Everyone danced – from our 2 year old flower girl, to our college friends, to all of our parents’ friends, all night long. They were constantly full of energy, and are very talented musicians. They played every request we had (all were on their set lists), including coming on stage a bit early to play “Something” by the Beatles for our first dance. They were responsive in communicating leading up to the event, and professional on the day of the wedding. The sound quality and volume was perfect, and they couldn’t have done a better job with song selection. I can’t recommend them enough, and I hope I get to go to future events where they are playing, so I can dance the night away again!

I have never attended a wedding before when there was not a sitting person in the reception room and everyone was dancing. The Sundogs had the repertoire and energy and just general great vibes that had everyone dancing, smiling and sweating for hours! It was awesome.

Besides being smart, great guys (with a surprise guest female vocalist who was dynamite!), I think what works with this band is their choice of music. It appealed from the gray hairs to the kids, including literally little kids. The musicianship was fantastic and the Sundogs rocked.

As father of the bride (and chief checkwriter 😉 ), I could not have been more pleased. Thanks, guys, and if I had another daughter, I would insist she book you guys as well! Thanks for your essential part in making one of the most memorable events of many people’s lives, including my own!

I booked Sundogs last summer for a back yard party. They were fantastic with communication during first engagement through performance. All members of the band were vey nice and very polite. It is great to see a band that seems to enjoy each other and playing together. They played a fantastic variety of music and the sound guys were even great and kept the group going. The band was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of our guests are still talking about the party and the band almost a year later. I can’t wait to book them again! Sundogs-you guys are great don’t stop rocking!!!

“All of the Sundogs and their sound tech did such an awesome job! From the second they started playing (Our House by Crosby, Stills and Nash) until the last song of the night (Hey Jude by The Beatles), and everything in between (from Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd to Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison to Teen Spirit by Nirvana) they sounded INCREDIBLE. And they timed everything perfectly– playing the right songs at the right time for the crowd. Dozens of our wedding guests told me that they were a great band and that they loved the music! My husband, me and our families thought they were the best band we’d ever heard at a wedding, and a few guests compared them to Eric Clapton. They got everyone from all age groups singing and dancing, and the music was never too loud or too soft. I was planning to greet guests during at least one of the sets, but I couldn’t help but dance the night away as soon as I heard them playing, and I had a complete blast doing so! Additionally, they were so easy to work with and accommodating throughout the wedding planning process. I would highly recommend the Sundogs to anyone who wants a rockin’ reception!

“We also hired Jon Martin of the Sundogs to sing at our wedding ceremony. When I got to the front of the church and heard him singing Morning Has Broken by Cat Stevens, I was instantly filled with a feeling of calm and happiness because his voice was so rich and beautiful and I knew the whole night was going to be amazing music-wise (and otherwise)! He learned both the songs we asked him to and he sounded just lovely, and many of the guests told me that he was the best wedding singer they’d ever heard. We also loved when he sang a verse of the Psalm with our organist whom he had only met a few minutes before the wedding– they sounded great together!

“Spectacular music. Great mix of classic rock and roll music and the crowd loved it. I loved seeing everyone dancing the night away while you played on stage. Wish I hadn’t been running the event so that I could have spent more time dancing and singing the night away. Hope you enjoyed Iron Mountain and are willing to visit us again. The only complaint I received was that the music was too loud. I was slightly deaf after the event but all in all a great job! (Note: The front-of-stage sound volume was controlled by the event’s hired sound company, not the Sundogs) Thanks again for coming up to da UP!”

Prior to the event the band contacted me (the ever-planning bride) multiple times to make sure all plans were set for a success. They were extremely accomodating to any special requests we had, and the sound was perfect! The sound engineer adjusted to volume during every song so it was never too loud, never too soft, just perfect. The performance was truly outstanding! I have never seen so many people on their feet dancing at a wedding reception!
